Providence Pirates is a professional basketball franchise that has been founded on September 19, 2019 and started its inaugural season as a part of the American Basketball Association (ABA) in 2020-21 season. The Pirates are focused on providing fun and affordable family entertainment to our Ocean State residents by bringing in top professional talent into the area. We are committed to making a positive impact in the community through partnerships with corporate, non-profit and community-based organizations to help our families, neighbors, and children in need.

The Pirates will compete in the very competitive East Region and against teams from the New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia.

Pirates has won the East Region in 2023 with a win over #1 overall team on the road to advanced to ABA Elite 8 in St. Louis, MO.
