Pirates drops a close one on the road.

Manchester, NH. The Pirates Saturday night, traveled back up to Manchester, New Hampshire to once again take on the Rockets in a rematch of the first game of this season. The Pirates started the game hot from the floor, and looked to stretch the lead to more than 10 in the first quarter. The Rockets however, did not allow this to happen, and went on a run to take the lead at the end of the first quarter, and did not look back. The Pirates tried to play catch up for most of the game, and struggled at times with the offensive prowess of the Rockets shooters.
Tyree Robinson and Nakia Hendricks led the second half comeback for the Pirates, with big man Sayvonn Houston having a solid all around effort as he was big force downlow. In the closing minutes, the Pirates brought the game within 3 points, but could capitalize on two back-to-back possessions to tie or get the lead. Box Score:
Pirates to have pair of contests this week coming up. First the team will travel to Haverhill, MA to take on the MA Knights on April 1 then host Philly Stunnaz in Johnston Rec Center on April 3. Both games will begin at 7:00pm and be broadcasted on Pirates' youtube channel.
