What Happened -

The Pirates had somewhat of a bye-week due to the cancellation of last weekends matchup. Their rest showed itself in Rutland as they led at the end of every quarter before eventually winning by 31. Due in part to missing two starters, Michael Mendes and Shane DaRosa, the Pirates' depth was shown this game. Multiple players stepped up, most notably Michael Rodriguez with 19 points and seven assists. In what is becoming normal, Providence was led in scoring by Tom Garrick Jr. who scored 32 points on an incredible 67% from the field. The player of the game, however, was big man Kevin Briggs who showed off

his offensive and defensive impact with

15 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 blocks.

Turning Point -

This game saw the Martens never truly establish a lead as they progressively fell further and further behind thanks to the relentlessness of the Pirates.
